There is a rule of revelation that changes us when it is applied. A revelation gives us real life learning. More than educating ourselves throughout our lives, it is revelation that is real life learning – Learning Implemented For Ever. It happens in the natural, you learn how to ride a bicycle and once you do you never go back to training wheels. You learned how to ride without and you now forever ride on the basis of that revelation.
There’s no need for a panic attack each time you get ready to ride, rehearsing in your mind that terrible and traumatic time you fell off the bike when you were four. No accusations come from the Enemy warning you, you shouldn’t ride because you wrecked and hurt yourself when you were six. No P.T.S.D. – Post Training-Wheel Stress Disorder. We just ride!
God operates by the same power of revelation. Once we have been forgiven and the Holy Spirit resides in us we can never go back to living the old way. Revelation now allows us to cooperate with God to make all things new. I John boldly states our situation this way: “No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.” (I John 3: 9) We are justified by faith. We have peace with God. And we have access to all the grace we need to live a new life. Got the revelation? Good!
